The Tibet Fund is hiring two Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning officers to conduct site visits, engage with beneficiaries, and take primary responsibility for continuously monitoring, evaluating, learning, and reporting on all program activities.
This position will be based in Dharamsala

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) officers will support TTF management in overseeing multi-year programs in India and Nepal. They will conduct site visits, engage with beneficiaries, and take primary responsibility for continuously monitoring, evaluating, learning, and reporting on all program activities. This work is essential for informing program management decisions and fulfilling donor reporting and evaluation requirements.
Additional responsibilities include assisting in the development of annual work plans, updating budget pipelines, and incorporating lessons learned into strategic planning and decision-making. The MEL officers will collaborate closely with TTF staff and partner organizations.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Specialized training in MEL, statistics, or data management is an asset
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the humanitarian and development sectors
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data collection methods and strong skills in data analysis is an asset
- Results-oriented self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and take initiative
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Tibetan languages
