Sherab Woeser

Sherab is responsible for leading The Tibet Fund’s programs in India and Nepal funded by USAID, the U.S. State Department, and private donors. He oversees program development and design, planning and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and regulatory compliance, and is actively engaged in developing the capacity of local partner organizations. Sherab has more than 20 years of diverse experience in activism, journalism, research, and development, and has played significant editorial roles in various prominent publications within the Tibetan community, including Phayul.com, Tibetan Bulletin, Tibet Policy Journal, and Rangzen Magazine. Before joining The Tibet Fund in 2017, he was a Senior Fellow at the Tibet Policy Institute of the Central Tibetan Administration. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Punjab University.
