ADVANCING QUALITY EDUCATION

We work to improve the quality of teaching and learning across all Tibetan schools in India and Nepal through a comprehensive program that strengthens teacher capacity, integrates Social, Emotional, and Ethical (SEE) Learning, and expands STEM education.

Our teacher-led, school-based professional development (TPD) model enables educators to continuously refine their practice through lesson study, peer discussions, classroom observations, expert talks, and webinars. Schools are supported with teacher reading corners, learning hubs, and small grants that encourage collaborative, teacher-initiated learning.

We also prioritize STEM education through targeted teacher training, exhibitions, and improved access to digital tools, helping students build curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills essential for the future. Investments in digital infrastructure and classroom technology expand access to information and enhance interactive, collaborative learning.

Alongside TPD, we integrate SEE Learning to nurture compassion, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence in the classroom, helping students develop self-awareness, empathy, and responsible decision-making, skills essential for both academic success and personal well-being.

These integrated initiatives create dynamic and nurturing schools where Tibetan students can learn deeply, confidently and thrive in the modern world.
