Tibetan Homes School Mussoorie (THF) was founded in 1962 and is home to more than 1400 students. THF’s goal is to provide a nurturing haven, HOME AWAY FROM HOME for Tibetan children in exile, with a blend of traditional Tibetan upbringing and modern education. Currently, THF has three branches, two elderly homes and a residential facility for retired THF staff and a vocational training center.

Tenzin Jammon, 9 years old, joined the Tibetan Homes Foundation on March 6, 2024. He was born in Keshod village, Gujarat, and now resides with his parents in the Tibetan Settlement of Dekyiling, India. His father works as a laborer, while his mother cares for their home. Tenzin attends a special class and resides in a hostel with other children, where they are cared for by a house mother.
