Tenzin Kunkyi

Program Officer

Kunkyi oversees the Tibetan Scholarship Program and supports the monitoring of cultural preservation programs across North America. Before joining the Tibet Fund, she worked as a consultant with USAID’s Office of HIV/AIDS and a Quality Monitoring Coordinator at Mount Sinai Health System, where she supported the World Trade Center Health Program. Active in the local Tibetan community, she served as president of the Regional Tibetan Women’s Association of Minnesota and as a board member of the Tibetan American Foundation of Minnesota. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota
