Director of Finance and Grants

Lhakpa is responsible for overall accounting and financial activities at The Tibet Fund. He has more than 20 years of accounting, audit, and financial management experience. Lhakpa holds a Bachelor in Accounting and Business Management, is certified in QuickBooks accounting, and has completed U.S. federal grant acquisition and assistance training courses. Prior to joining The Tibet Fund in 2014, Lhakpa served as Chief Accountant at various Tibetan offices including the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission, CTA, the Office of Tibet, and the Dalai Lama Trust in New York.
