Palden Phuntsok

Deputy Chief of Party (TESC), Tibetan Economic,  Social and Cultural Program

Palden supports the TESC program’s overall management and technical direction. Previously, he worked on multi-year initiatives to strengthen governance institutions and improve livelihoods across Tibetan communities in India. He served as Project Officer for over five years with the Central Tibetan Administration, supporting the TSRR program, then as Project Manager and Deputy Chief of Party for the National Democratic Institute’s (NDI) CTA-CBSI Program for three years. Palden also has experience with other USG grants, including those from DRL, IFES, and NED. Before transitioning to the development sector, he worked as a sales manager in the private tech sector for over a year.
